10  Tips to stay healthy during the winter season.

1. Opt for warm, cooked meals like soups, stews, and porridges to support digestion and keep the body energized 

2. Incorporate immune-boosting spices such as ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper into your diet to enhance circulation and fight inflammation.

3. Stay hydrated with herbal teas made from tulsi, chamomile, or licorice root to soothe the throat and keep your system hydrated.

4. Strengthen your immune system with Vitamin C and D: Include seasonal fruits like oranges, lemons, and amla (Indian gooseberry) to boost Vitamin C levels. Get sunlight exposure or consider Vitamin D supplements to support immunity.

5. Herbal Support: Such as Ashwagandha, Giloy, Turmeric  Licorice, Trikatu, Tulsi plant based supplement or extract in Ayurveda, or astragalus root (Huang Qi) in Chinese medicine, are excellent adaptogens that strengthen your defense mechanisms.
